Fall 2009 Update

Since we are playing catch up from September through November some other tidbits of info. Will is sitting up very well on his own and has been doing so for a few weeks now. He has his first tooth and #2 trying very hard to make an appearance.

As you can see, Halloween was another must see event. Will was a sock monkey and made a brief appearance between naps to visit with the other ghosts and goblins in the neighborhood.

Other than that we have had a fun filled fall with Gamecock football about every weekend, trip to Hilton Head and visits from family and friends.

Clownin' Around

Will is just clownin around. He has successfully ran both Mom and Dad from their bed! Hope everyone is well. My new years resolution for 2009-keep this blog updated! We head to Simpsonville this weekend and then Cincinnati for Thanksgiving weekend.

Summertime and the Living is Easy!

Well it has been many weeks since our last posting......Will has begun to roll over and is lifting his head very well. He is a man on the move and loving every moment.

We started daycare a few weeks ago and it would seem that he has successfull won the hearts of the "teachers" and is enjoying the entertainment of the other babies.
Last weekend he went to his first pig roast at his friends Luke's and his first swim in the neighborhood pool. While he is no Michael Phelps he seems to be a natural in the pool. We head to HHI in a few weeks for Labor Day and look forward to our first trip to the beach!

Cincinnati Trip and Happy 4th

The Cincinnati Trip was great. Will proved to be a wonderful traveler-probably better than Blake or myself. We were greeted with warm welcomes and just had a terrific time. Will enjoyed meeting his Cincinnati family and we enjoyed showing him off:) Blake and I actually took some time away and went out on the river and the festival. We topped off the weekend with a low country boil at Uncle Mikes house on Saturday. The time went fast but very much enjoyed.

Our next adventure was the 4th of July. We celebrated in style and enjoyed a cookout with the Evans and neighborhood fireworks that Will slept through. We also traveled to Edgefield for a visit. This weekend is Will's first neighborhood pool party.

Safari or Trip to Lowes?

Will set out on some new adventures last week. Here we went to Lowes to get flowers for the front flower bed. Earlier in the week went out to Publix. This week we are getting ready for our trip to Cincy. Wish us luck!

Happy Fathers Day!

Will had three firsts this weekend, roadtrip, first visit to Nanny and Papa Holmes home and meeting their beagles. We went to Simpsonville to celebrate Father's Day. As usual Will did very well in the car and we were treated to a wonderful lunch by Nanny Sandy. He enjoyed spending the day and was as sweet as he could be....

Will and I took Blake out to a Fathers Day dinner the night before-his first trip to the Vista and Longhorn. Above is a pic of Blake feeding him after dinner. We also have had our first trip to Publix and Lowes this week. We are out and about!

Lately he has really taken to watching his mobile in his crib and playing on his play gym. Below is a video...

Welcome to Will's Adventures

Hello everyone. Since Will's fan club includes family and friends both near and far we thought it would be nice to start a blog that everyone could check in on our adventures from time to time.
As most of you know Will was born April 30, 2008 @ 3:04 a.m. Will weighed 6 lbs. 10 oz and measured 21 inches in length (pictured below).

We came home from the hospital on June 3 and have been off and rolling ever since. He is now 6 weeks and three days old and weighs 10 lb. 8 oz. and is at least 24 inches long. We have a growin' boy!

For our first post we thought we would provide a brief update and then we will update regularly from here. Will has been visited by lots of family and friends thus far and is looking forward to a trip to Simpsonville tomorrow and Cincinnati in two weeks. Below is a current photo:

Thanks to all for your support and prayers during this very exciting time. Will is doing wonderfully and we couldn't be more fortunate. We will keep you posted!
